thebigbonus-or-theshaft asked: Hey! Tumblr misses you :) Don't worry about it too much ;D But if you're still up for making gifs, that's always wonderful.
Thanks a lot! I’ve really meant to keep it much more active, but things have gotten in the way. Apologies to everyone who’s sent requests over the last few months; I’ll try to start churning out the gifs again soon.
Thanks for sticking around!
nixskits asked: Thank you so much for this, I've enjoyed it immensely. There's a weird phenomenon I noticed in NewsRadio's syndication, where the four episodes in the fourth season with Lauren Graham's efficiency expert character were almost always shown in the wrong order. If you had a little tribute to her 'Andrea', that would be fun!
I appreciate the kind words (both from you and the others who have sent nice messages), and I’m glad you were able to take a little bit of enjoyment from it!
That’s an interesting observation that I never noticed, though it’s shown so sporadically in syndication here now and I just didn’t pay enough attention when it was on the major cable networks years back. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this or may have some information on whether there’s a reason for it or just coincidence.
As for the Andrea tribute, that’s a fantastic idea. I had planned on shifting away from just making .gifs of scenes and doing some themed .gifsets, including some general tributes to individual characters. I had only thought to do main characters, but tackling some of the minor ones would be great too. I’ll definitely try to do that sometime soon.
and that’s it!
20 months and over 2,500 images later, every NewsRadio episode has been capped. We’re not done around here though, as there are still plenty of .gifs to be made (in fact, I have a couple I’ll try to do by the end of the week) and other things to be posted. There are definitely some good capworthy stills that I missed the first time around, and I might try to put some other stuff together.
To the three hundred and something people who have had the patience to stick around, whether you’ve been here since day one or you’re new ‘round these parts,
There’s more to come! Gazizza, fellow NewsRadians.
